Lesson 8: Observing for Implementation

Attend Clinic.

This week, you will once again attend the Docside Clinic in Port Arthur. You should already have your practicum deliverable identified and approved by Dr. Guillot-Wright. Use this time to think about the best ways to implement your deliverable and continue observing how the clinic changes depending on who is being seen or what clinicians are present.

Reminder: You will be expected to help set up/tear down the clinic and engage with participants as best you can, depending on language barriers. When participants are meeting with a clinician, do not hover nearby or try to listen. Please respect their privacy.
