Docside Clinic Scholars Program: We’re excited to announce a new educational & research opportunity, which can count towards your MPH practicum, TWH Field Experience, or Dissertation/Independent Research hours. In partnership with the Southwest Center for Occupational & Environmental Health and funding from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, we are offering a unique educational experience that brings students face-to-face with community-based public health practice and research through the Docside Clinic: Connecting Docs to Docks in Port Arthur, Texas. This experience can count towards your MPH practicum, TWH Field Experience, or Dissertation/Independent Research hours. There are two MPH positions and one doctoral position available per semester. The grant provides funding for mileage to-and-from the clinic location each month. For more information, please fill out the form below.
