WHO WE ARE

The Docside Clinic: Connecting Docs to Docks holistically addresses waterfront workers’ lack of access to primary health care, behavioral health care, and safety net social services through strategic and sustainable partnerships with academic and federally qualified health care centers, county food banks, legal clinics, and seafarers’ centers. We are in four locations throughout the US, have had nearly 2000 patient encounters since 2021, and shown successful continuity of care, including patient follow-up, medication refills, and laboratory services; coordination of existing services under one umbrella; and an increase in patient’s medical adherence. If you’re interested in mobilizing the Docside Clinic in your waterfront community, please contact us.
